The Applied Jungian Academy

The Applied Jungian Academy (AJA) is the Centre of Applied Jungian Studies (CAJS) newest offering and is a subscription based, online learning platform that grants students access to three learning pathways: Featured courses, Jungian Fundamentals and Live Sessions/Events.


Traditionally, CAJS has hosted exclusively live courses. These bespoke programmes generated a wealth of material in the form of lectures, workshops and applications that, once completed, were archived. The AJA platform was created in response to this, as a means of allowing students access to the Centres most influential and acclaimed historical courses, within the ambit and context of an international collegial community of fellow Jungian students and practitioners.


The Three Learning Pathways:

Upon registration, you will gain access to our Featured Courses, Jungian Fundamentals, and Live Sessions and Events.


Featured Course and Jungian Fundamentals are self-study courses consisting of applications, workshops and pre-recorded lectures that you can work through in your own time, each supported by a community forum. Courses on these pathways are updated every three months to allow you time to work through whichever courses most appeal to yo at the time.


Live Sessions and Events are weekly (via Zoom) exploring the primary Jungian literature, Jungian praxis, dreams and invited guest speakers.


Each learning pathway has a corresponding private community forum where students will receive support and mentorship with their learning and can engage in meaningful exchange with other students.

Subscription Fee

Enrollment in the Applied Jungian Academy is $43.00 per month.

— Jungian Learning Pathways —

Three curated learning tracks - each offering a single 'Featured':
  • Art Pathway
    Explore the intersection of Jungian theory with the arts, film, and music. Initial Course: The Art of Individuation: Expression & Desire

  • Mysterium Pathway
    Dive deep into Jung’s esoteric and symbolic work—alchemy, myth, and transformation. Initial Course: Myth & Metamorphosis

  • Accredited Pathway
    (CPD Certified) Professional training for therapists and serious students. Initial Course: CC – Archetypes & Individuation

— Jungian Fundamentals Curriculum —

  • Jung Unplugged Lexicon
    Video based lexicon on Jungian Concepts
  • Conscious Living Programme (Accredited)
    12 Module Course covering key Jungian Concepts with practical applications for personal exploration. This course is accredited.

— Live Learning & Events —

  • Primary Literature Reading Group
    Stephen Farah will read from the Collected Volumes with discussion
  • Digging Deep
    Anja van Kralingen will open the floor for Q&A on the application of the Jungian Theory.
  • Dream Circle
    Byron Gaist will facilitate a dream circle discussion


Zoom discussions will be recorded for students who are unable to attend the live sessions. These sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays at 6 pm London/1 pm New York times.

— Community Forums —

Subscribers gain entry into five active discussion forums:

  • A general community forum where announcements for live zoom sessions will also be made
  • One for Jungian Basics
  • One for each featured course (Art, Mysterium, Accredited)
 

Please note that participation in these forums is optional.

— Access —

Courses are featured for 3 months, then move to a “Previously Featured” section for another 3 months.

Each course in each learning pathway is accessible for a total of 6 months, but only the featured courses will be facilitated on the forums. 

If a subscription is cancelled, all course access ends.

Live Sessions

Connect in real time through Live Sessions, featuring twice-monthly Zoom groups: a Primary Readings discussion circle focused on Jung’s own texts, and a Dream Circle exploring symbolic and unconscious material through dreams. Additional guest-led workshops and community sessions will be added later. These live events are where dialogue, exploration, and learning come to life.

Jungian Fundamentals

The Jungian Fundamentals pathway offers essential grounding in Applied Jungian Studies. These core courses — Jung Unplugged and CLP—introduce foundational concepts, frameworks, and psychological tools for understanding Jung's model of the psyche. Ideal for newcomers and those seeking to deepen their grasp of the basics.

Featured Courses

Every three months, the Academy spotlights a new set of Featured Courses across three learning pathways:


  • Art Pathway – exploring the intersection of Jungian theory with creative expression. 
  • Mysterium Pathway – diving into esoteric, symbolic, and archetypal dimensions of Jung’s work. 
  • Accredited Pathway – offering CPD-certified courses for professional development.


After three months, our featured courses move into a 'Previously Featured' section where you can still access the materials for a further three months meaning that each course will be hosted on the Academy for a total of 6 months. 

Facilitation on the forums will always focus on currently featured courses.
