Drawing-in-Desire: the Alchemy of the Impulse is a unique opportunity to encounter the artist’s intimate process of thinking and making. Located both online and in the artist’s studio, this bespoke series of process-as-practice sessions aims at unlocking the “stuck self” and finding what’s unique to you in a process of metaphorically “drawing beyond your imagined lines.

Reflecting her desire to embody a full and enlivened existence through the practice of the artist’s process, the interdisciplinary artist, Sue Pam-Grant – with an honorary Doctorate in Psycho-Social Intervention – creates a uniquely relational experience as she leads this bespoke and curated course – live, participative, intimate – and designed to engage creative thinkers across all disciplines.

In a vital, live and invigorated experience that happens over a three-hour period, each Masterclass Encounter provides practical process tools that enable participants to manifest, activate and actualise their unique understanding of the creative impulse and bring the “elusive idea” into fruition. This is an opportunity to invest in the self, activate “the Alchemy of the Impulse” and “Draw-in-Desire”, beyond your imagined lines.

Hurrying, hurrying – for the knowledge of life… No, not that- for a knowledge of aliveness.

Testimonials

This is truly a Master Class. It starts with Master Sue guiding the participants to complete a series of exploratory and artistic tasks, but as you follow the instructions and complete one task after another, you go on a journey of self-discovery and self-expression. At the end of the journey, you realize that not only you have created amazing artwork, but that you have transformed to have become the Master of your own creative expressions. Utimate training school makes it really simple for people to reach their full potential and deliver their message in a practical way.
- Tian Chen, Anthropologist and art curator
I am genuinely humbled, grateful, and inspired by the process we went through together. I felt a connection to you all night that reminded me of my own humanity. I am profoundly stimulated by the work we did and by my own work and process. Sue your genius and passion for this work and its delivery are apparent, abundant, and a tremendous gift to have received. I am in your debt, and at the risk of presumption, I believe we all are. Thank you,
Stephen Anthony Farah

Sue’s workshops were intensely personal explorations which I feel ill-equipped toput down in words, although these do come to mind:recount, discover, explore, react, accept, embrace, rethinkHer process disabled my inhibition and I felt free to be messily creative and expressive. It was immersive, instinctive and completely addictive. There’s not a person I know who I wouldn’t recommend these workshops to.Utimate training school makes it really simple for people to reach their full potential and deliver their message in a practical way.
